Hotel Description:
- Since 1955 the Eden Roc has graced Miami Beach's prestigious Millionaire's Row. Designed by famed architect Morris Lapidus, this innovative hotel became an instant landmark setting a new standard for luxury oceanfront resorts. Situated directly on the beach, the Renaissance Eden Roc Miami Beach Resort and Spa occupies a prime oceanfront location on Collins Avenue in Miami Beach. A twenty-four million dollar renovation is nearing completion and includes refurbished guest rooms and suites, complete spa facilities, dining venues, two outdoor pools and watersports. Thirty-six thousand square feet of remodeled meeting and banquet space is available including a promenade and three ballrooms. There is no beach access from the hotel at this time. The main pool deck is closed until mid-December 2002 for the construction of a new deck, pool and two whirlpools, concrete restoration work and landscaping. There will be construction noise associated with this project between the hours of 8am-8pm.
